Today me, mum and our friends went to Isle of Wight zoo in the morning so we could have a look around at the animals that they had which most were sleepy but still managed to get some good photos. Some of my favourite photos that I got are these:
At 12pm we headed to the entrance of the zoo as I had a big cat training experience we were met by a lovely keeper who explained the rules and the plan for the 45 minute experience. We started off with the beautiful Nahla who is a grand age of 20 where the keeper was telling me about the training and showing me the training they do and I was the one who was giving the rewards which Nahla did really well she didn't do anything wrong and was loving the food like most animals. Once we trained Nahla I got to scratch her using a brush as she is hand reared she likes the company of humans.
Once we had fed Nahla and gave her a scratch we headed to see if Simi the tiger would come over for some training which no matter what we tried even her favourite thing of the keeper pretending to die she wouldn't come over which was fine as they never force any animal to do the training if they do not want to. We then headed to the white lions Casper and Frosty where Frosty is the one that normally comes over and sure enough she did so we did quite a bit of training with her including getting her on her back feet to see how big she was.
We then went back to try Simi but she was still comfy sleeping so we tried to give the rest to Nahla but she was comfy on her rock. We then headed back to the shop area to meet back up with our friends before saying thank you to the keeper.
We then headed to the Amazon World for the rest of the afternoon as our friends had never been before which was really good the animals showed really well and our friends had a great time.
We then headed for the ferry back to Poole ready for the next adventure.
