Slimbridge 3rd February 2019

On the 3rd of Feb we decided that we would take a visit to Slimbridge as we have not visited in a long time. We started our usual route where we saw a lovely Collared Dove before heading to the Martin Smith Hide.

Collared Dove

When we got to Martin Smith Hide there was a few birds of interest including a pair of common cranes and Common Snipe.

After spending a bit of time in the Martin Smith hide I headed down to the other hides where I saw some Mute Swans and White fronted geese. After those I headed towards the willow hide where I saw more Common Snipe showing close and the Water Rail.
